Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2220 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Diploma completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Diploma of Nursing

Preferred Credentials: BSN

Unit Details: Pre-operative support and immediate post-operative recovery for cardiovascular procedures, including open heart surgery, heart transplants, ventricular assist device implantation, and interventional and structural heart procedures. Patient population includes high-acuity acute cardiology and heart failure patients, often managed with inotropic support or temporary left and right ventricular devices. The unit manages Impellas, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABPs), ECMO, C-Mag, and various permanent and temporary ventricular assist devices; Total Artificial Hearts are planned in the near future. The unit manages invasive lines, medications, hemodynamic needs, continuous dialysis, and ultrafiltration machines.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: The assignment includes MICU, SICU, CVICU, and ICU, with floating to other units as needed, including stepdown and med-surg.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
