Job Details

Responsibilities:

As the Permanent Outsourced Accounting Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage all outsourced accounting functions for our clients in the life sciences and biotech industry.
2. Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and concerns, providing expert advice and solutions.
3. Develop and implement effective financial strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
4. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to clients and stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
6. Work closely with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
7. Assist in the audit process, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
8. Provide financial advisory services, helping clients to make informed decisions about their financial future.
9. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the life sciences or biotech industry.
2. CPA certification and/or Big 4 public accounting experience is a strong plus, not required.
3. A strong understanding of the financial needs and challenges of the life sciences and biotech industry.
4. Proven experience in outsourced accounting and business process outsourcing (BPO).
5. Extensive knowledge of audit processes and financial regulations.
6. Experience working with pharmaceutical and medical device companies is a plus.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading successful teams.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to a non-financial audience.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
