Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: - Phlebotomy, IV starts, EKG, tele monitoring, and cardioversion experience required.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios: 5:1 MS; 1:1-1:3 ICU (more of a step-down unit); IMC 1:2-1:4. - Common diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, AFib RVR, DKA, CIWA, and cardiac patients. - RNs titrate drips including pressors, insulin, anticoagulants, epinephrine, norepinephrine, vasopressin, and angiotensin-II. - RNs are required to read their own strips. - Charge nurse takes assignments; house supervisor on site. - Cares for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and ventilator support; RT coverage 22hrs/7.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flex weekends and holidays. - No self-scheduling. - If low census, clinicians may be placed on low needs.

Floating Requirements: - Possible to float to the ED as a helping hand during code/trauma if assigned to the code team.

14 days maximum time off
