Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have L&D experience, as they will be primarily in L&D. Children’s hospital experience within the last 3 years required; open to travelers whose experience is from a Level 1 adult facility. NICU or PICU experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Servo U experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA. NRP is required for those placed in L&D, as determined by the client.

Special Requests: IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS

Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Home unit will be assigned as NICU, PICU, or Peds once at the facility and may change based on facility needs. May float among PICU, NICU, and Peds/Peds Acute Care. May also float to IU Health North Hospital.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years
