Our Pediatric Day Health Care Center (PDHC) is a bright, cheerful place designed especially for children with complex medical needs. Here, kids up to age eight receive skilled nursing care and therapy in a safe, loving, and play-filled environment — surrounded by peers, laughter, and learning.

A Day in the Life at the Center

Every day brings new joy, discovery, and connection.

Your morning starts by assigning staff to classrooms and reviewing nursing documentation for quality assurance. Then, you’ll greet families and children as they arrive — offering a warm smile and helping set the tone for a positive day.

Throughout the day, you’ll:

  • Support nursing staff and aides with interventions and daily activities.

  • Engage with children in their classrooms — joining in crafts, songs, or even organizing a fall carnival or petting zoo!

  • Collaborate with physicians and families to ensure each child’s medical needs are met.

  • Develop and update care plans , track infections, and review chart audits.

You’ll end your day with a sense of pride — knowing your leadership helped your team create brighter days and healthier futures for the children we serve.
