Job Title:

Customer Service Representative II

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative II serves as a key point of contact for customers, managing an independent portfolio of accounts and supporting order-related activities from order creation through final delivery. Acting as an extension of the commercial organization, this role works closely with customers and internal teams to help ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.

Our Customer Service team supports a diverse customer base, and language needs may vary by position. While Spanish is not required for all Customer Service Representative openings, select roles do require or strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish. Candidates with Spanish-language proficiency are encouraged to highlight their level of fluency when applying.

Please note that this position requires on-site presence five days per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Efficiently process order-to-cash from contract management through order confirmation, ad-hoc invoicing and delivery — all order types and customers (EDI, export, WOC) 
  • Act as front-line business contact for product, service and supply chain inquiries; keep clients proactively informed and act to maximize ability to serve  
  • Analyze SAP reports to identify and resolve open issues; interface with Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics, Product Stewardship, Trade Compliance and Quality  
  • Receive, enter and manage customer non-conformances/claims, including debit/credit note management  
  • Build sustainable customer trust through open, proactive communication 

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of customer service/account management experience or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years  
  • or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years  
  • Familiarity with SAP (SD module) or a strong interest in learning enterprise systems  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in dynamic, multicultural environments. 
  • Organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on customer and business needs. Maintains composure and professionalism under pressure.  
  • Proactive problem-solver with a desire to take ownership and contribute to positive customer outcomes 
  • Team-oriented and leads by example through a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning; open to mentoring and being mentored.  
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with an interest in developing customer relationship skills 

The following are preferred for the role: 

  • Experience in chemical industry ideal 
  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking

What We Offer:

Base Pay Range: $56,300 - $82,610

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
