Hospital-Based Locums June 2026 Start Travel Covered

A respected healthcare system in New York is actively seeking CRNAs for an upcoming June 2026 start with coverage needs throughout June and July, plus potential ongoing sporadic dates. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking a flexible locums assignment in a high-acuity, collaborative perioperative environment.

Position Highlights:

• Seeking 1 2 full-time equivalent providers
• Coverage beginning June 2026
• No call required for locum CRNAs
• Travel reimbursement available
• Options for locums, locums-to-perm, or permanent placement

Practice Setting:

Coverage needed across multiple clinical areas, including:

• Main hospital operating rooms
• Endoscopy unit
• Cardiac lab
• Ambulatory surgery center

Clinical Environment:

• Supervised model with autonomy expected
• Physician supervision ratio generally 1:4
• Cardiac ratio generally 1:2
• Must be comfortable functioning independently when needed
• Support staff includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
• 15 main ORs and 4 ambulatory surgery suites
• Trauma Level II facility
• EMR: Epic

Patient Population:

• Adult
• Geriatric
• Ages 16+

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates available with additional orientation, holiday, overtime, and holiday overtime rates. Conversion fee applies for permanent placement pathways.

Requirements:

• NBCRNA certification
• Active New York license strongly preferred
• Current NPDB self-query dated within the same month as submission
• Clean presentation package for prompt review
