Currently offering a sign-on bonus up to 10k.

Job Summary and Qualifications:

• ​Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures. ​
• Performs all CT Procedures. ​
• Observant of patients’ conditions. ​
• Practices radiation safety as described in federal standards, utilizing ALARA and Radiation Right policies. ​
• Understands and operates electronic information systems including Meditech, PACS, PACS cube, eMar etc. ​
• Compiles appropriate records to expedite results. ​
• Administers contrast media as required.
• Performs venipuncture and IV site placement. ​
• Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of CT and to meet the continuing education requirements of the ARRT. ​
• Participates in Department QA/performance improvement projects.
• ​Assists radiologist with interventional procedures.
• ​Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner. ​
• Other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies). ​​Required​
• One year experience as Radiologic Technologist Required
• One year experience in performing CT procedures Preferred
• Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
• ARRT (R) Registered​ ​​Required​
• ARRT (CT) Registered​ ​​Required​ -must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position
• Basic Cardiac Life Support​ ​​Required​
