Loss Prevention Field Agent

Overview:SUMMARY: Position is responsible for preventing the loss of any of the company's assets when possible and recovering those assets and apprehend the individuals that cause a loss when necessary.
Responsibilities:RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:o Using Loss Prevention criteria, observe, witness, stop, and detain offenders in shoplifting, counterfeiting, and ticket scalping incidents at Six Flags Over Texaso Assist Security in the processing of individuals that attempt to enter the park illegallyo Conduct investigations concerning a wide variety of different malfeasance issues pertaining to Six Flags Over Texas and their Employeeso Able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication to offenders, parents, Loss Prevention Management and, Local Law Enforcemento Organize paperwork and computer data entry as well as Interfacing verbally with all Over Texas/ Hurricane Harbor Employees and Managemento Converse with numerous employees and guests on various levels while always maintaining composure in potentially stressful situationso Interface with minors / adults / local law enforcement and parents relative to internal and external theft issueso As needed, coordinate all local law enforcement authorities for the arrest of offenders based on Loss Prevention criteria and provide authorities such photographic evidence and other documentation needed for prosecution of offenderso Testify in court as needed concerning internal and external theft incidents
Qualifications:Qualifications:o Must be at least 18 years of ageo Strong verbal and written communication skillso Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillso Full availability, including days, nights, weekends, and most holidayso Ability to work opening and/or closing shifts (up to 8-hour shifts preferred)o Available for a seasonal commitment of at least 3 months through the end of the yearo Flexibility to work limited hours during spring, fall, and winter seasonso Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)o Capable lifting to 25 lbs.o Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodso Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (including criminal and credit history)o High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferredo Previous Loss Prevention or security experience preferredo Commitment to providing excellent support to guests and fellow team members
