Full job description
Lead a team that changes lives every day! We are hiring a Nurse Manager for our Heart Transplant and VAD clinic. Where expertise, innovation, and compassion come together!
- FT Day
- M-F 8a-5p
- Flexibility needed
- BSN required
- 2 years applicable experience required
- 2-3 years managing a physician practice or ambulatory nursing preferred.
- Transplant experience preferred
- Prior Cardiac experience as an RN strongly preferred.
- Prior management experience strongly preferred
- This nurse manager will be responsible for approximately 30 staff members. Which includes hiring, training, staff scheduling and performance review and management,
- Nurse manager will work directly with providers for clinical support.
- Models the SLHS Leadership competencies and core values including professionalism, innovation, adaptability, independent judgment and solid decision making skills.
- Accountable for the development implementation and evaluation of the care provided in the clinic consistent with the established strategic plan goals and objectives for Patient Centered Care.
- Works in collaboration with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes.
- Supports optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes.
- Drives employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient centered and healing environment.
- Maintains all clinical competencies if required due to size and structure of the clinic and may occasionally be counted in staffing.
