Security Support Officer

Our client, a leading organization in the power and water solutions industry, is seeking a Security Support Officer to join their team. As a Security Support Officer, you will be part of the Security Department supporting the overall safety and security of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate vigilance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Security Support Officer

Location: Cranberry Township, PA

Pay Range: $26.78

Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm ET

What's the Job?

• Manage and oversee access control and badge management programs for the facility
• Create, modify, and deactivate employee, contractor, and visitor access badges
• Process access requests and ensure proper approvals are documented according to company policies
• Monitor security systems including CCTV and access control to identify suspicious activity or security concerns
• Respond promptly to security alarms, events, and access alerts, providing appropriate action and documentation

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies
• Proficiency with security software systems and Microsoft Office applications
