Rotating schedule -- five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days
Rounding on assigned patients
1:2 call ratio shared with another full-time APC
Beeper call -- 15-minute response time for assigned patients
Surgical, inpatient, and call coverage experience required
BLS certification required (AHA only)
Occasional outpatient coverage may be included
Coverage until permanent APCs are hired and trained
