Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1790 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is required.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Required Skills/Experience: Familiarity with Expanse and admissions and discharges is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Expanse experience is preferred. Ability to draw labs is preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: The unit uses Expanse. The unit’s typical procedures include lab draws, IV insertions, Foley insertions, and administration of IV fluids and medications such as antibiotics. The unit prepares patients for surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Techs have a 1:10-15 patient ratio.

Shift & Scheduling: The schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
