A health system in New York City is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care across ICU, pulmonary floors, and clinic settings.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend on-call coverage as assigned
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient coverage for the ICU and pulmonary floors, including daily rounds with the care team
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of pulmonary and critical care conditions
• Perform pulmonary consults and procedures as clinically indicated
• Provide outpatient care in pulmonary clinic, with sleep clinic coverage if sleep trained
• Collaborate with residents, fellows, and other specialists to coordinate patient care

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonology
• Active New York State medical license
• MD or DO degree

Desired Skills:

• Training or experience in critical care
• Training or experience in sleep medicine
• Experience with inpatient ICU and pulmonary floor coverage
• Experience with pulmonary procedures and diagnostic testing
• Experience using AllScripts or similar electronic medical records systems

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
