Responsibilities:
- Running and approving raw materials to insure the quality of our finished products.
- Running and approving production samples to insure that-the customer receives a quality product in a timely manner.
- Completing supervisor assigned responsibilities to insure that departmental objectives are being met on time.
- Participation with cross functional teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities as required.
- Verify proper labeling, handling and inspection of hazardous waste material.
- Must be able to complete normal QC functions with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Characterize, handle, label, manifest, or inspect hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A general understanding of basic chemical concepts is desirable
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good math skills
- Computer experience including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes databases, and corporate ERP systems is helpful but not required
