Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities that ensure effective patient care:
- Assist in executing individualized physical therapy treatment plans crafted by supervising Physical Therapists.
- Administer therapeutic interventions, which may include exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, gait training, and strategies for pain management.
- Continuously monitor and document patient progress, promptly communicating any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on prescribed therapeutic exercises, safety measures, and effective home care strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records adhering to all state regulations and institutional policies.
- Guarantee a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions to foster patient confidence and recovery.
- Collaborate actively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated care.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate’s degree.
- Possession of an active Physical Therapist Assistant license valid in California.

- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with adult or geriatric populations.

Compensation and Benefits
