Description
SynQor is seeking a detail-oriented Incoming QC Inspector to join our Quality & Reliability Team. In this role, you will ensure that incoming mechanical, electronic, and electrical components meet stringent quality requirements before they enter production. Your work will directly impact product reliability and customer satisfaction across critical industries including defense, medical, industrial, and communications.
Responsibilities:
• Examine purchased parts and materials for compliance in workmanship and with SynQor and manufacturer specifications:
o Inspect and measure items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation.
o Record inspection results electronically in SynQor's Tracking System and maintain inspection data and documentation per SynQor's ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.
o Issue DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports) and manage MRB (Material Review Board) handling of non-compliant purchased material.
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or technical school degree
• 1+ year of mechanical, electrical, or electronic inspection experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Experience using calipers, gauges, microscopes, and similar inspection tools
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in electronics manufacturing
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems
• Experience with ERP/MRP or quality management software
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• IPC certification or military/aerospace quality experience
Education:
• High school or technical school degree is required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a routine basis (handling heavy/large cartons).
• Comfortable with the use of a microscope/magnifying lamp for prolonged time periods in a seated position.
