Job Description:

Easy Street Capital is seeking an experienced Escrow Specialist to lead tax and insurance administration for our growing RTL portfolio and help build our in-house escrow capabilities to support our expanding DSCR portfolio.

This is a hands-on role for someone who brings strong mortgage escrow expertise, can operate independently, and is excited to help shape processes and systems as our servicing platform grows.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships and day-to-day activity with tax and insurance vendors
  • Oversee vendor data files, loan boarding/deboarding, monitoring, exceptions, and issue resolution
  • Partner with the Accounting team on vendor invoicing and related reconciliation
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for tax, insurance, and escrow questions and escalations
  • Provide subject matter expertise as we build and test escrow functionality within our servicing platform
  • Manage DSCR escrow activity, including analysis, collections, disbursements, shortages, surpluses, and advances
  • Support other servicing functions and initiatives as needed


    • Qualifications:

    Required:

  • 3+ years of mortgage servicing experience with direct tax, insurance, and escrow experience
  • Strong understanding of mortgage escrow administration and servicing practices
  • Experience working with tax and insurance monitoring vendors
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently research and resolve servicing issues
  • Comfortable working in a growing environment where processes and systems are actively being built

    • Preferred: 

  • Business-purpose loan servicing experience
  • Experience supporting servicing system development, implementation, or testing
  • 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience with direct tax, insurance, and escrow experience
  • Bachelor's degree
