Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Day shift ratios: 1:4-6; night shift ratios: 1:5-6. - Tele patients are monitored by a central monitor tech, with strip visualization available on the floor if needed. Common drips include Lasix and heparin. - No vents on the unit; does receive BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow patients. - Common diagnoses/patient population include COPD, sepsis, CVA, COVID, pneumonia, and post-op surgical patients including hips, knees, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend; weekend is Saturday and Sunday. - No call requirement. - May be required to work every other holiday if needed. - Self-scheduling is available, but due to the short contract terms schedules will be entered by the manager.

Special Requests: - Block scheduling may be accommodated if possible, but the every other weekend requirement must still be met.

Floating Requirements: - May float to another floor if they have the competency to do so. When floating, you will always take a full patient assignment, including ICU RNs.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
