Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2770 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Driver license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Skills Checklist required during onboarding. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) experience is a plus.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Unit Details: Med-surg and orthopedic units function as one unit. Uses Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM).

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation every 3 weeks. Holiday coverage.

Floating Requirements: Staff float between the med-surg and orthopedic units.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
