Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, and mail-processing equipment in USPS facilities. This role performs preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and component replacement to keep sorting and conveying systems operating safely and reliably. The mechanic uses hand and power tools, test equipment, and basic diagnostics while following written procedures and USPS safety rules, documenting work performed, and helping minimize equipment downtime in a busy postal operations environment.
