Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to healthcare professionals and ensure a positive experience for patients. This role involves both administrative and clinical tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of our medical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and health maintenance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
