Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support certification: Required
• Women's health experience and/or certification or working towards PRPC or WCS
• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree: Required only if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 5 x 8s
• Variable start times within office hours
• Weekend rotation required every 5-7 weeks to cover inpatient duties
• No call

Location Highlights

Ukiah, California offers access to outdoor recreation and wine country attractions in Mendocino County. Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve is about 20 miles west of Ukiah and features old-growth redwoods, while Lake Mendocino sits about 10 miles north for boating, fishing, and hiking. Downtown Ukiah includes the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas nearby and the Grace Hudson Museum in town, giving travelers access to cultural landmarks and a quieter small-city setting. The area is roughly 60 miles from the Mendocino Coast and about 115 miles north of San Francisco, which supports weekend trips to both waterfront destinations and major urban amenities.
