Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support our inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on therapy under the direction of a physical therapist, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility activities. You’ll document progress, educate patients and families on home programs, and help ensure a safe, encouraging environment. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to individualized care plans, build clinical skills, and grow professionally in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.
