The
Machine Operator at our
Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.
Role Responsibilities: - Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
- Schedule and handle materials
- Assure compliance with print specifications.
- Utilize computer programming.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:
- High school diploma/GED
- Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired
- Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of general safety practices
- Knowledge of general metal material properties
- Ability to work with close tolerances.
- Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively.
- Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
- Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
- Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
- Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
- ability to listen, be trainable, retain information, follow all safety guidelines and protocols, and be self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications:- have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience
Hourly Pay Range: $26.14
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
This position is eligible for
a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
