Registered Nurse Post Surgical Cardiac Stepdown

Ascension seeks a Registered Nurse for our Post Surgical Cardiac Stepdown unit. In this role, you’ll provide evidence-based, compassionate care to adult post-cardiac surgery patients requiring close monitoring. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, cardiac and telemetry monitoring, titration of IV medications, wound and post-op care, and timely documentation in the EHR. You’ll collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and support safe discharge.
