Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to every shift while helping promote a confident and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public spaces, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support transportation operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic during service disruptions or special events, and communicating professionally with the public and/or local first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years of experience as Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
- Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
- Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
