Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: The 300 unit treats surgical, orthopedic, and medical patients. The main unit is more cardiac-focused with step-down acuity and includes post-cath, post-pacemaker, post-PCI, TAVR day 1 or greater, CABG day 1 or greater, sepsis, and respiratory distress patients. Common drips include amiodarone, heparin, Cardizem, fixed-rate insulin, nitro, and dopamine (only for renal dosing). Nurses read telemetry strips. Telemetry uses Philips monitors. No ventilators are used, but patients may receive BiPAP or CPAP. No IV team is available. Respiratory therapy coverage is available 24/7. Pharmacy is not available 24/7; use Marian for after-hours service after 10 p.m. A hospitalist or intensivist is on call after hours.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend (4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule). Holidays are worked in rotation with permanent staff.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Must float between the 300 unit and the main unit.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
