About the Position

We are seeking a CDL A Driver for our client in Holtsville, NY. The position offers a flat rate of $275 per day. This role requires 2 years of recent CDL driving experience, preferably 3 years, and at least 1 year of touch freight experience.

Pay & Schedule

• Flat Rate: $275 per day, average $1375 per week
• Start Time: 4:00 AM - 4:30 AM
• Work Schedule: 5-day work week with mandatory Saturdays; 1 day off midweek (could also be Monday to Friday depending on volumes)

Job Details

• Handling: Hand cart/pallet jack unload, including up and down stairs/into basements
• Average Day: 8 – 10 hours
• Delivery Area: Primarily New York (including the boroughs), with potential overflow to New Jersey and Connecticut
• Stops: Averaging 10 – 14 stops per day

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic reefer tractor trailer
• Deliver freight to restaurants, hospitals, schools, etc
• Unload freight using hand carts and pallet jacks
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
