Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2660 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Additional Details:

1 manager reference from within the last 6 months OR 2 charge nurse references from within the last 6 months (one reference must be from most recent employment)

Required Skills/Experience: - Prior travel is required. - A minimum of 2+ years of RRT experience in the pediatric critical care arena (PICU/NICU/CCU) required. - Centrifuging, aliquoting, distribution, and working with an LIS system required.

Unit Details: - Pediatric patient population. - Patient assignments are based on a points system.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Must be able to work both NICU and PICU, as well as either CCU and/or acute care floors.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 6 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
