Engineer (Land Development)

<p><b>Volt</b> is immediately hiring an <b>Direct Hire</b> <b>Engineer (Land Development)</b> in <b>Santa Clarita, CA.</b> </p> <p>As an <b>Engineer</b>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Support the design and development of land development projects, including grading, drainage, utility, and roadway improvements.</li> <li>Prepare engineering calculations, plans, and technical documents for project deliverables.</li> <li>Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination efforts.</li> <li>Apply engineering principles and industry standards to develop practical design solutions.</li> <li>Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering work.</li> <li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, drafters, and clients throughout project execution.</li> <li>Assist in evaluating design alternatives and resolving technical challenges.</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers and drafting staff as needed.</li> </ul> <p>This is a <b>full-time, direct hire</b> opportunity.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.</li> <li>2+ years of experience supporting land development projects.</li> <li>Working knowledge of site grading, stormwater, utility, and roadway design principles.</li> <li>Proficiency with CADD, engineering software, and Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering calculations, design practices, and technical documentation.</li> <li>Experience performing QA/QC reviews on engineering deliverables.</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project schedules and budgets.</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.</li> <li>Progress toward obtaining Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.</li> <li>Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use land development projects.</li> <li>Familiarity with local development standards and permitting processes.</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate: $75,000 - $110,000 annually. </b></p> <p>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW</b> for immediate consideration!
