π¬ Join Our Team as a QC Environmental Microbiology & Allergen Laboratory Analyst! π

We're seeking a QC Environmental Microbiology & Allergen Laboratory Analyst to join our Environmental Microbiology and Allergen Laboratory Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with microbiology testing, allergen analysis, quality systems, and food safety programs that directly impact the products consumers trust every day.
π° Pay: $26.25/hour
π Schedule: five 8-hour shifts a week, Sunday-Thursday 8pm-4am
What You'll Do
As a key member of our Quality team, you'll:

Perform environmental microbiology sampling and testing throughout the facility
β
Conduct environmental and finished product allergen testing using a variety of methodologies
β
Utilize laboratory techniques including ELISA, PCR, cultural methods, and biochemical assays
β
Coordinate testing schedules and communicate results to stakeholders
β
Support process improvements and continuous quality initiatives
β
Assist with laboratory systems management, documentation, and regulatory compliance
β
Help maintain the highest standards of food safety and product quality
What We're Looking For
πΉ Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent laboratory experience)
πΉ Experience with microbiology laboratory techniques and hygienic practices
πΉ Familiarity with ELISA, PCR, culture methods, and biochemical testing preferred
πΉ Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
πΉ Excellent documentation and data management abilities
πΉ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory-related software (GLIMS, Optiva, SAP, etc.)
πΉ Ability to work independently and contribute to team success
πΉ Comfortable working in a dynamic production environment while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
