Please find a brief description of the Inventory Control Associate role below:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.

  • Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
  • Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count. Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Collaborates with vendors and purchasing.
  • May perform other routine duties, including data entry
  • All other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $25-26 DOE

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform complex mathematical calculations, read and interpret reports, receiving, shipping documents
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Ability to lift and load weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Solid working knowledge of related manufacturing processes.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Will be working out in the production floor in a non-climate-controlled environment and being on your feet for most of your shift.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
