Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Varied shifts

How you'll contribute
An Operating Room Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
BCLS required
ACLS, PALS preferred
Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred

Valley View Medical Center 102,000-square-foot acute-care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to community. We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8 bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, 16 Bed Emergency Department and Valley View Medical Center is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
