Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Diploma completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Certification in clinical specialty area preferred.

Unit Details: Routine duties require exposure to blood, body fluids and tissue. The role may involve occupational exposure to communicable diseases. The role may involve occupational exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste; exposure risk may increase depending on the essential job duties.
