Full job description
The Opportunity
Generate high-quality, reproducible data to advance exploratory oncology targets into clinical development.
Design, execute, and analyze complex flow cytometry experiments, serving as a key technical resource for the team.
Build, optimize, and troubleshoot large multicolor flow cytometry panels for deep immunophenotyping.
Perform meticulous, high-precision analysis on challenging samples, with a focus on low cell count analysis.
Perform routine cell culture using both primary cells and established cell lines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse project teams to share insights, present data, and support strategic decision-making.
Thrive within an open, collaborative team environment that values technical excellence, adaptability, and scientific rigor.
Who You Are
You hold a PhD in Immunology, Oncology, or a closely related scientific discipline (Postdoctoral experience is a plus).
You bring proven expertise in advanced flow cytometry, including building large multicolor panels and analyzing low-input samples.
You possess a solid scientific foundation in immunology and hands-on experience with primary cell and cell line cultures.
You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with the adaptability to pivot as project priorities evolve.
You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, thriving as an engaged, collaborative team player.
Preferred
Experience in cell therapy and in vivo mouse models are welcome, but not required.

Relocation is not available for this role.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $103,400 - $192,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
