Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties:

  • Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
  • Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
  • Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
  • Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
  • Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved MA program
  • Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)
  • BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)
  • Ambulatory care experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Fast-paced outpatient setting. May require travel to other clinic locations.
