Full job description
West Virginia University Medicine, Berkeley Medical Center, seeks a Urologist . The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. A successful candidate must have completed a Urology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Urology . All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
Martinsburg, WV is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD and close to three international airports. A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place to live. While Berkeley County is the fastest growing county in the state, there is little congestion and traffic. In recent years, a steady influx of urban professionals from nearby Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD have contributed to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.
The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer.
