Role Purpose

As a Director in Decision Sciences, you’ll support executive-level analytic leadership, cross-discipline team members and client stakeholders, providing intelligence and insight-based consultation, along with effective leadership and oversight for the execution and delivery of performance measurement, data science and reporting deliverables.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to client marketing success through the appropriate and effective application of a wide variety of insight and intelligence generation disciplines, techniques and toolsets.

  • Demonstrate thought-leadership and effective collaboration with internal teams and client stakeholders to identify and define marketing measurement, analysis, intelligence generation, and reporting needs.

  • Apply intelligence and insight of customers, behavioral dynamics and marketing performance to inform and advise internal and external stakeholders on marketing strategies, audience definition, tactical planning and campaign optimization.

  • Draw upon personal knowledge of marketing, data science, measurement and research disciplines, along with that of subject matter experts, to design and develop solutions tailored to client needs and objectives.

  • Ensure that all involved team members are well-informed on project objectives, requirements and expectations, as well as on the intended applications and uses of the intelligence and insight generated.

  • Shepard all aspects of project execution/implementation, proactively intervening and/or course correcting as necessary to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery, as well as opportunistic exploratory analysis (as needed) to clarify perspective and enrich understanding.

  • Effectively communicate and convey findings, learning and strategic recommendations to client stakeholders via dashboard visualizations, presentations and written documents.  

  • Develop junior-level analytic talent via mentorship and hands-on training.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • 7+ years of hands-on, applied analytics experience in areas such as segmentation, predictive modeling, digital analytics, measurement, media performance, business intelligence, or market research.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters in IT Management or Business Analytics preferred.

Knowledge & Ability

  • Curiosity of key drivers of customer behavior and marketing performance.

  • Passion for discovering actionable intelligence hidden within large, complex datasets.

  • Desire to learn and experiment with new approaches, techniques, and processes.

  • Knowledge of strategic marketing principles and practice, along with a strong focus on driving business outcomes.

  • Advanced and applied knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques and performance measurement.

  • Working knowledge of dashboarding and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Firm understanding of core data architecture and management concepts, principles and practices.

  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.

  • Proactive, problem-solving ability.

  • Collaboration and teaming skills.

  • Ability to train and mentor others.

Candidates must be local to the Irving, TX or Raleigh, NC area and willing to be on site in our offices at least 3 days a week.
