About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL Class A Regional Flatbed Driver to support operations based in Mount Airy, North Carolina. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, regional routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • $30 per hour
  • Overtime after 40 hours
  • $30 per diem
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Out for five nights and home for two
  • 40 hours per week
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Anticipated start date: August 24, 2026

Job Details

  • Route type: Regional
  • Equipment: Flatbed
  • Freight: Light-touch freight
  • Handling: Strapping, chaining, tarping, and touch freight

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL Class A equipment on regional routes.
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Secure loads using straps and chains and tarp freight as required.
  • Perform required light-touch and touch-freight handling tasks.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • No endorsements required.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
