Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Khiron PT and Rehab, your daily tasks will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress.
• Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities, providing real-time instruction to ensure proper technique and safety.
• Monitoring patient progress, documenting findings, and effectively communicating any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention, and treatment methodologies to foster a better understanding of ongoing care.
• Maintaining an organized and clean therapy space, ensuring that equipment and facilities are safe for patient use.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes individuals across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric care. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional qualifications such as: CPR certification, experience in a hospital or clinical setting, or specialized training in areas like orthopedics or geriatrics will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
