Full job description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Encompass Health, you’ll help patients regain communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities after major illness or injury. In a collaborative, inpatient rehab setting, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy, and document progress. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, PT/OT, and social workers to design comprehensive care plans, educate families, and support safe discharge.
