Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist:
Evaluates speech, language, cognitive, and communication impairments
Evaluates swallowing, airway, clinical voice and resonance disorders
Develops and administers speech therapy programs and treatments
Patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel
Job Qualifications for the Speech Language Pathologist:
Graduate of accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Current Speech-Language Pathology License / Licensure in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification.
