Leadership - Director of Nursing

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Director, Nursing & Clinical Services

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 8a-5p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, Mon-Fri; admin on-call rotation required; weekends on request

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active CA RN License
• 5 years recent Director of Nursing experience in an Acute Care or LTAC setting (Required)
• BLS (through the American Heart Association) (Required)
• ACLS (through the American Heart Association) (Required)
• Master's Degree (Required — must be listed on resume)
• Degree in a healthcare-related field (nursing preferred)

Other Details:

• Directs and coordinates the functions and activities of the nursing department and assigned clinical operation departments
• Consults with and advises Administration on the general operation of the hospital
• Develops nursing and clinical department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies, and procedures; ensures compliance with legal, organizational, and medical staff standards
• Authority and responsibility for establishing, directing, and implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice and the clinical operations and financial matters related to all nursing and clinical care areas
• In a Network Market, receives direction from and has a staff reporting relationship with the Network Market Sr CCO/CCO
• Acute Care / LTAC setting
