Full job description
Wellstar is seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer to join our compassionate breast imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams to support early detection and accurate diagnosis of breast disease. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and provide respectful, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include optimizing ultrasound equipment, documenting findings in PACS/EMR, assisting with biopsies and procedures, and upholding safety and infection-control standards. You’ll collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and surgeons while accessing ongoing education and growth opportunities within our integrated health system.
