Shift: 3rd Shift

  • Sunday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician I to join our milk production facility in Clackamas, OR. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, quality, and consistency of dairy products through inspections, testing, documentation, and process monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming raw materials and finished dairy products.
  • Perform routine quality checks throughout production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in internal quality audits and support external audits as needed.
  • Collect, record, and analyze quality data and prepare reports on quality metrics.
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Report non-conformances and support corrective and preventive action activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work the assigned overnight schedule and occasional weekends as needed.

Preferred

  • 1-2 years of quality assurance, quality control, or food manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Additional quality-related certifications are a plus.
