Full job description
Our client, a leading manufacturer of commercial snow and ice control equipment, is seeking a Product Support Specialist to join their team. As a Product Support Specialist, you will be part of the Technical Service team supporting dealers, distributors, and end users through technical troubleshooting, warranty administration, and product support activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach that aligns successfully with the organization's commitment to service excellence.
Job Title: Product Support Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Range: $50,000 - $77,500
Shift: 1st Shift
What's the Job?
- Provide technical support by responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding products, troubleshooting, and warranty concerns.
- Process warranty and RMA claims, including customer communication, data entry, claim evaluation, and returned product administration.
- Assist with the development and improvement of technical training materials, product displays, presentations, and training aids.
- Deliver product training to dealers, distributors, and end users on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Support product demonstrations, field testing, sales events, and technical evaluations of new and existing equipment.
What's Needed?
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience; high school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, 12V electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, or equipment repair preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, and product specifications.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience using common shop tools and equipment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
