Full job description
We’re looking for an experienced SLP to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You’ll work with patients to improve communication and swallowing, making a real difference in their daily lives. Apply now and we’ll connect you with a recruiter who can walk you through the next steps.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or new graduates eligible for CF supervision.
- Active Texas state SLP license is required to start the position.
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Experience or comfort practicing across inpatient hospital and outpatient settings.
- Experience treating pediatric and geriatric populations or willingness to manage a mixed caseload (approximately 50% pediatrics / 50% geriatrics).
- Experience with dysphagia management, cognitive-communication disorders, and speech therapy evaluation and treatment.
- Experience or willingness to provide Early Intervention services for children under age 3.
