Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays if work permits.

Job Description
Position Overview
The Associate, Renewable Procurement, will support the sourcing, negotiation, drafting, and administration of major equipment and service agreements for Invenergy's growing pipeline of wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. The role will play a key part in developing commercial contracting strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, managing commercial risk, and supporting cross-functional transaction execution. Responsibilities include leading commercial negotiations with equipment manufacturers and service providers, drafting and reviewing supply and service agreements, coordinating with internal legal counsel and stakeholders, evaluating contractual risk allocations, and supporting supplier relationship management activities. The successful candidate has existing expertise in renewable energy procurement, contract drafting and negotiation, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, sound commercial judgement, and a demonstrated interest in contract drafting, negotiation, and deal structuring. The candidate should be comfortable working across legal, commercial technical and financial disciplines.

Responsibilities
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers for major equipment, services, and long-term support agreements across wind, solar, and batter energy storage technologies.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contract terms, including supply agreements, service agreements, reservation agreements, NDAs, letters of intent, amendments, and change orders.
Evaluate supplier redlines and develop negotiation strategies that appropriately allocate commercial, contractual, schedule, performance, warranty, and financial risks.
Coordinate closely with legal, development, engineering, project management, finance, and tax.
Support development of procurement and contracting strategies aligned with project objectives and market conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Law, or related discipline.
5 + years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, contracting, project development or other related field.
Exceptional written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating and administering commercial agreements.
Strong understanding of contractual concepts including indemnities, limitations of liability, warranties, liquidated damages, and risk allocation.
Ability to manage multiple complex negotiations and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Occasional travel to project sites and manufacturing facilities will be required.
Valid driver’s license.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the renewable energy industry
A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Demonstrated interest in renewable energy industry, infrastructure development, supply chain management or commercial strategy.
Proven influential verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial information to a variety of audiences.
Base Pay
$103,000.00 - 124,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
