Maintenance Technician

Our client, is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join their team. As a cleaner , you will be an essential part of environmental services supporting the hospital community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Hospital Cleaner/Janitor

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $18

Shift: Varies, must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays

What's the Job?

• Support environmental service needs during assigned shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation by using commercial-type equipment such as vacuums, scrubbing machines, strippers, waxers, and buffers.
• Follow oral instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Perform physical work that includes standing, walking, bending, and reaching continuously throughout the shift.
• Handle heavy and medium-weight materials, equipment, and supplies while working indoors and outdoors.

What's Needed?

• MMR vaccinations (must present)
• TB test (dated within the last year.)
• Physical (dated within the last year.)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Comfort working around refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes, and odors indoors and outdoors.
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays.
